Homes that are tidy, clean and well-presented result in better images. This translates into more viewings, a higher demand and ultimately achieving the best possible price for your property.  

General Tips

  • All curtains and blinds open - this ensures the house is light, bright and inviting

  • Any seasonal decorations taken down - this avoids dating the photos

  • All windows shut - this makes the property looks more symmetrical 

  • All Television's turned off - so the television is not a visual distraction from the room itself

  • Pets and all pet belongings out of sight - this avoids discouraging people who aren't animal lovers

  • Declutter and depersonalise - this helps to not put potential buyers off before they enter the property

Exterior

  • Vehicles off the driveway

  • Remove bins and unsightly objects

  • Garden to look neat and tidy; grass mowed, dead plants removed.

  • Childrens' toys and garden equipment put away

  • Clean and shut windows

Kitchen

  • Clear and clean worktops & sink 

  • Remove bins  

  • Appliances out of sight  

  • Close all cupboards 

  • Hide oven gloves and tea towels

Bathroom

  • Remove shampoo bottles/beauty products

  • Toilet lids down

  • Remove cleaning brushes

  • Pull back the shower curtain

Bedroom & Living

  • Beds neatly made 

  • Cushions plumped  

  • Remove clutter from under the bed if visible
